What has been happening on campus this year — trips, concerts, sports days and everything in between.
Student Exhibition Day
Every class at Faulu set up a table to show a term of project work, from science models to art pieces and Kiswahili storybooks. Parents walked the halls asking learners to explain what they had made and why, and the day closed with awards for the most creative projects in each class.
Career Day
Parents and friends of the school came in to talk to learners about their work, from piloting and medicine to farming and engineering. Each class rotated through short talks, and learners got to try on a pilot’s cap and hold a doctor’s stethoscope.
Tree Planting Day
Every class planted a tree on campus as part of our environment week, and the older learners explained to the younger ones why the trees mattered. The school now has a small grove that each class checks on and waters through the term.
Sports Day
Houses competed in track and field events all afternoon, from sprints to sack races, ending with the tug of war final that had the whole school on its feet. Parents came out to cheer, and every learner left with a house colour and a medal.
Steadmark Gardens Visit
Kindergarten and lower primary learners spent a morning at Steadmark Gardens, walking through the gardens and getting close to the animals kept there. It was a hands-on science lesson outside the classroom, and they came back with drawings of what they had seen.
School Trip
Upper primary learners spent the day outside the classroom on this term’s school trip, tying it back to what they had been studying in social studies and science. It was a full day out, with packed lunches and a great many questions for the guides.
2025 Concert
Learners performed songs, poems and dance pieces they had rehearsed all term in front of a packed hall of parents and family. Every class had a slot on the programme, and the evening closed with a group performance from the whole school.
Nyayo Stadium Visit for CHAN
Upper primary learners went to Nyayo Stadium to watch a match during the African Nations Championship, hosted in Nairobi that August. It was many learners’ first time inside a stadium that size, and they came back still talking about the noise of the crowd.
