Aerobics at Faulu

High-energy fitness sessions that build stamina and coordination — and a genuine habit of moving.

Why aerobics is part of the week

Aerobics sessions are run to music on campus and are deliberately inclusive: there is no team to be picked for and no bench to sit on. Every learner moves for the whole session, at whatever level they are currently at.

The aim is not performance but habit. We want learners leaving Faulu who associate exercise with enjoyment rather than obligation — who know how it feels to be out of breath and fine with it, and who will keep moving long after they have left us.

Cardiovascular fitness and stamina
Coordination and moving in time to music
Flexibility, warming up and cooling down
Inclusive sessions at every ability level
A lasting habit of regular exercise
