About Faulu School
A nurturing kindergarten and primary campus on Ngong Road, Nairobi, built around one idea: that a good education grows the whole young person, not just their exam results.
Our story
Faulu School sits along Ngong Road in Nairobi, 300 metres from the Kenya Meteorological Department. We opened for families who wanted more for their young ones than a good report card: a school where learners are known by name, where the arts and sport matter as much as the textbook, and where getting to and from school safely is part of the promise rather than an afterthought.
What began as a small kindergarten has grown into a full kindergarten and primary campus, with music rooms, sports facilities and our own fleet of buses — while keeping the thing that made it work in the first place: small classes and teachers who stay.
How we teach
We follow Competency-Based Education from Kindergarten through Primary. Learners learn by doing: they ask questions, work in groups, build things, present their thinking and practise a skill until it holds. Teachers assess how a learner is progressing over time, not just what they can recall on one test day.
Around that sits a deliberately holistic programme. Every learner plays an instrument, trains in a sport and takes part in dance or movement each week. We do this because character, confidence, fitness and creativity are formed in exactly the same years as literacy and numeracy — and a school that only attends to one of those is only doing half the job.
What makes Faulu different
Plenty of schools will teach your learner to read and count. These are the things families tell us made them choose Faulu, and stay.
One campus, the whole package
Academics, music, martial arts, sport, dance and transport all sit under one roof. Families deal with one school that knows their learner, not a patchwork of outside providers and separate schedules.
Learners known by name
Small classes mean teachers notice how each learner is doing — in the classroom, on the court and in the music room — and can act on it long before it shows up in a report.
Safe travel, every day
Trained, professional drivers run our own bus routes on a schedule families can set their watch by, so the journey to school is never the hard part of the day.
Give your child a place where they thrive.
Enroll at Faulu and give your learner strong academics, a genuinely holistic programme of music, sport and the arts, and a safe way to and from school every day.
