Why ballet is part of the week

Ballet at Faulu is taught by qualified instructors on campus as a normal part of the school timetable, not an after-school extra. Learners move through positions, barre work and simple routines built for their age.

The benefits reach well past dance. Ballet asks a young person to hold a position when it is uncomfortable, to repeat something until it is right, and then to perform it in front of an audience. Learners carry that patience and composure back into the classroom.
